Summer 2021 in Perth is here!

A new book and a new look for 2021. Summer is in full swing here in Western Australia and that means trips to the beach! Early morning sunrise fitness walks, picnics, admiring the sunsets and lots of time to spend at the beach! On that theme, I’d like to share my favourite beach outfit this summer. Ethically sourced fashion from Perth ‘op’ shops — a great way to start 2021.

This year I am aiming to support sustainable fashion by;

• Looking for second-hand items in local ‘op’ shops

• Up-cycling or re-purposing items that I already have

• Share or swap items with friends or family members

• Investing in good quality ‘timeless’ pieces

• Support local designers and items made in Australia!

Now that summer and 2021 are here, it’s time for a new book — this has been recommended; “Humankind: a hopeful history” by Rutger Bregman. This book has been personally recommended to me due to its positive approach and new perspective. I can’t wait to start reading it!
